The Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation have put together a fantastic competition for children aged 10-14 as part of their StoryQuest festival which starts on Thursday 30th September.

Children have the chance of having their story read out on BBC Radio 4's Today programme by Children's Laureate Michael Morpurgo and receive a StoryQuest Tales illustration signed by Quentin Blake.

StoryQuest is a nationwide festival of stories and storytelling and this is how YOU can get involved.

Look at Quentin Blake's illustration for StoryQuest. You can do this by going to www.artsandkids.org.uk/storyquesttales and write a story about one of the characters. Who are they? Where are they? and What is their Quest?

You have no more than 1,000 words to tell your tale and it must reach Arts & Kids by November 8th. Happy writing.
