A. Empowering your children to be street smart and safe
A powerful 2 hour interactive course for parents and children between the ages of 9 – 13 years. It is divided into two sections:

• Communication – how best to talk and listen to your children so that they develop good self esteem allowing them to be in control and one step ahead of danger.

• Think Safety! – covers the safety rules that every child should be aware of from road safety and personal safety to use of the Internet and Mobile Phones
There is a chance for ‘What if’ scenarios, roll play and questions and answers.

B. Computer Technology and Children
A course for professional teachers and parents
This covers how computers affect our children’s health in terms of structure, knowledge, posture, obesity, RS injury and skeletal development.
What are the effects of the dependence on new technology – do we rely on it too much? do we use it sensibly? Do we teach our children how to best exploit the computer age?
